1. Brief History

Fluorescence Interactive has been designing websites since 2001.

Originally operating from a flat on the sixth floor in the eastern suburbs of Tshwane, Fluorescence made the BIG move to Johannesburg during early 2005. Since 2007 we have spent some time expanding Fluorescence abroad and are currently setting up shop in Austin Texas USA.

Some of our clients include Standard Bank, TBWA/Tequila, SASFIN, Virgin Mobile, Mercedes Benz South Africa, Administaff (USA), Biztools (USA), Esoteric Labs(USA), WhiteFlash(USA), OpenCo, Rage, Hippo, Soviet Eyewear, TETA and well renowned local photographer Michael Meyersfeld .

4. Awards

Awards are generally - objective positive opinions from the leaders in the industry. We have been receiving awards since 2002 starting with the first animated music video to ever get a nomination and our Creative Director Steven Brewis was a finalist in the SAPPI tHink Ahead and Young Designer Achiever awards. Between 2003 and 2007 we were finalists three times at the Loerie and New Media Contruction Awards and in 2008 we received Gold at the Construction Awards in CapeTown. During 2009 We received 3 finalist awards at the prestigious Loerie awards and are hoping to WIN Gold during the ceremony late September.
